PHO BO

Sitting at the familiar Blu cafe, with the murky working river watching the variety of cargo boats sliding past, I feel comfortable. Being at home once again.

Of course, to complete my time home in Vietnam, I JUST had to have Pho Bo! For those of you who don't know, Pho is a kind of noodle made from rice and is pronounced foe. Bo means beef. Pho Bo is a Vietnamese traditional dish (Beef noodle soup). You can add bean sprouts, mint leaves, chilli and oyster sauce and Basil. You don't use a fork, you use chopsticks! I love the spicy flavour.

We're flying across Vietnam to Cambodia this afternoon. I will be having dinner in Phnom Penh - more exotic and familiar food!
